  All these cases prove is if you have enough money and can hire some high paying slimy lawyer and he can bring enough doubt in the minds of the jury, then you will be found not guilty. I recall an interview with Johnny Cochran and they asked him if he thought OJ could have murdered his wife and you never seen so much slide stepping of a question. I think he does know that OJ did it but his pat answer was that the prosecution didn't prove their case. So again guilt or innocents comes down to if you are able to afford a good lawyer or not.

  i was reading the thread about the prospect of the wts releasing some new light shite about a prophecy to fulfil the fact that they are not growing and it brought back a really horrid memory, unintentional i know but horrid nonetheless.. the co visited the congregation were i was from and after the obligatory song and prayer, it was announced that the co needed to speak to us urgently on a local needs issue.

  he came onto the platform his look was sombre and melancholy (nothing new there then).

  he said he had an announcement from the governing body and that their had been a law passed that day which banned jw's in the uk that the usa and other world governments had notified the wts that they were to follow suit shortly.

  do you think it's acceptable for the us to imprison children as young as 11 years old ?!?!.

  does the behaviour of drunken us soldiers assaulting a 17 year old girl make them undisciplined yobs?.

  this comment is particularly disturbing imo and should result in prosecution.. in her interview, she said maj gen walter wodjakowski, then the second most senior army general in iraq, told her in the summer of 2003 not to release more prisoners, even if they were innocent.

  I agree and I have said this dozens of times, if MJ is innocent he has shown poor judgment. He has left himself open for every money grubbing, get rich wacko out there by his poor judgment. A 44 year old man does not let 12 year old boys sleep in his bed without the parent?s supervision. Like you said, its time MJ got in the real world. Myself I don't think MJ is as naive and innocent as he portrays himself on the TV. The childlike act he puts on is just that an act, to make people think it is all an innocent game and he is hurting no one.

  I know MJ is innocent until proven guilty but if the evidence so far that is being brought out is true, he is far from being a good guy. I don't care how much "he has done more good for this world", he has ruined the lives of a number of young innocent boys.

  The people suing him however are greedy slime and indicative of the "sue" culture America has become. They are as guilty or more of anything Jacko may or may not have done. They should fry. Who LETS there kids go off with a wierdo (it was the plan all along). Their "dirt" is starting to come out and it ain't pretty. Jacko will probably slide... but both sides attorneys and the media will make a fortune!

  This is a court proceeding to find if Michael is guilty criminally and has nothing to do with him being sued. I agree, that the family is a bunch of greedy slime but any suing for financial gain will follow in a civil hearing. If MJ is found guilty criminally, they would have a better chance in winning a civil case, although they could still go ahead and sue MJ even if he is found innocent criminally. Same thing happened in the OJ Simpson case.

  Can a person have his baptism nuliified if he was too young when baptised?

  i know this was discussed not that long ago on here but can a person have his baptism nullified if he was too young when baptized?

  the reason i ask is that i have a friend that said he was baptized at 14. i was mentioning that i read somewhere on this and told him i would get back to him.

  if so, how does one proceed with doing this and is there a sample letter he could use?
